Leadership Conference Drum Celebration, Tanzania 2009
Our entertainment for the night never showed. So, I grabbed one drum and began to play. The women danced and smiled and drummed. In this room where women who's children had just died that same week. In this room were survivors! In that moment, we were business owners, artists, musicians and leaders with a song to sing! Only smiles lit this room. Even the Mayor of Tanga walked in and the celebration of LIFE continued. No one could steal our joy!
